Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive Sauraha, Tharu culture and Rapti sunset
Check in at Sauraha, visit the Tharu cultural house for the evening stick dance, then watch sunset over the Rapti River.
Day 2
Canoe, jungle walk and jeep safari
Dugout canoe down the Rapti for gharial and marsh mugger, guided jungle walk, elephant breeding centre, and an afternoon jeep safari for one-horned rhino.
Day 3
Dawn bird walk and departure
Early morning bird walk in the community forest, over 500 species recorded in the park, then breakfast and departure.
