Day 1
Kathmandu heliport check-in and briefing
Weigh-in, safety briefing and seat allocation at the domestic terminal. Flights leave early for the calmest air.
Day 1
Flight to Lukla and refuelling stop
Fly east over the middle hills and the Dudh Koshi into Lukla for a short refuelling stop.
Day 1
Kala Patthar landing
Land briefly at Kala Patthar (5,545m) for the closest possible ground view of the Everest summit and the Khumbu Icefall. Ten to fifteen minutes only, at this altitude.

Champagne breakfast at Everest View Hotel
Breakfast on the terrace at the Everest View Hotel (3,880m) above Namche, facing Everest, Lhotse and Ama Dablam.

Return flight to Kathmandu
Scenic return down the Khumbu with landing back at the Kathmandu heliport.
